I Hate Punk Rock Records is a St. Louis-based label that’s been helping put out Bent Left records since 2010. Proprietor Mike Jones is also the mastermind behind Encapsulated Studios and Paper Thin Press. Here’s what Mike has to say…
“Hi. I’m Mike. I’m kind of old, and I have a 9 to 5 day job (for now). But more importantly, my friends and I still love playing and making music and putting out records. That’s why we are here. I know this is nothing new by any means, but we try really hard to make our records as personal and local whenever possible. Friends recording releases, friends working on websites, friends printing shirts and jackets and then all of us hanging out at the bars and touring together when it’s all ready to go, it’s so much fun and it has truly made some of the most memorable moments in my life the last few years. So please take the time to look around our site, listen to our music, and if you can spare a couple dollars for a record, that would be great! A lot of people put a lot of time into all of this!
